  2. Grammy In The Schools presents a strictly realistic view of 
  3. the music and recording business.  Students meet with 
  4. professionals in all fields, musicians, label executives, 
  5. lawyers, songwriters, etc., to learn about the entire 
  6. industry, from behind the scenes to in front of the mic.  In 
  7. addition to strictly musical issues, the program also deals 
  8. with topics of broader social concern, such as substance-
  9. abuse prevention and the current state of music and arts 
  10. education in our nation's schools.

  12. With each new year, Grammy In The Schools continues to 
  13. expand the scope of its activities.  Grammy In The Schools 
  14. programs are slated for 15 cities across the United States 
  15. this year, including six programs which are being held in 
  16. association with local professional gatherings and associations 
  17. (International Association of Jazz Educators Convention, 
  18. Minnesota Music Awards, Music Educators National Conference, 
  19. Philadelphia Music Alliance, Rocky Mountain Music Association 
  20. and the South By Southwest Music Convention).
